WokFi - Wifi Signal Strainer

The parabolic Asian cooking(dumpling) strainer
is the perfect candidate for this project.

I was able to pick up 20 more access points
in the city and connect to a network a few blocks away!

This is BY-FAR the most simple of all Wifi extensions!

Have you ever tried to use an old dish network dish as an antenna? Is there anything special? How would you weather proof the electronics?

For Dave: I have not, but it seems like that would be cool.
mj: I got it from a asian cooking store. check instructables.
dj: the best way would be to use a repeater, but following my instructions should work great too!
